The History of Alpha Omega EpsilonFounded on the campus of Marquette University in November of 1983, Alpha Omega Epsilon got its start as a sorority for women in the engineering and technical sciences programs at the university. Put together by 27 female engineering students, it became a recognized organization on the campus in 1984. As one of the newer sororities, Alpha Omega Epsilon has forty active chapters and one colony throughout the country. Today, the sorority works in close partnership with its twin fraternity, Sigma Phi Delta.
Today, Alpha Omega Epsilon promotes the values of friendship, leadership, and professionalism, and works hard to encourage women to enhance their lives both socially and professionally.
