Sigma Lambda Gamma was founded in 1990 at the University of Iowa by a group of five ambitious young women. In the short time that the sorority has been officially recognized, the group has grown to include over 90 chapters. Shocking pink and majestic purple are the sorority’s official colors and are often incorporated into official merchandise.
