Kappa Alpha Psi is a historically African-American fraternity that was founded on January 5, 1911 at Indiana University in Bloomington. The fraternity does not restrict membership on the basis of race, religion or national origin. The group has over 160,000 members across 721 undergraduate and alumni chapters. Kappa Alpha Psi has a presence in every state of the United States as well as several international chapters.
