Alpha Delta Pi
Alpha Delta Pi is a sorority that was founded on May 15, 1851 at Wesleyan College in Macon, Georgia. The group is most commonly referred to as ADPi and is a proud member of the National Panhellenic Council, which includes 26 of the oldest sororities. There are approximately 161 chapters of ADPi, including alumnae chapters, with over 200,000 lifetime initiates.

The History of Alpha Delta Pi
Founded on the campus of Wesleyan College in Macon, Georgia in 1851, Alpha Delta Pi started as the university's first secret society for women. Today, the sorority has over 150 chapters and more than 220,000 collegiate members throughout the U.S. and Canada!
Each chapter goes by the motto, "We Live for Each Other," and rocks the organization's colors which are azure blue and white. The organization has a long history of philanthropic activity. Today, Alpha Delta Pi’s national philanthropy is the Ronald McDonald House Charities, which help create, find, and support programs designed to encourage the health and well-being of children. since 1979. Thanks to its partnership with Ronald McDonald House Charities, Alpha Delta Pi has succeeded in raising and donating more than $7.8 million to supported organizations.
Beyond its charitable giving, Alpha Delta Pi also has a long history of churning out notable graduates, including Ainsley Earhardt, a notable Journalist, Kelli Finglass, the Director of the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders, Jessica Nelson North, editor at Poetry, Sandra Palmer, a professional golfer, Ali Rogers, runner-up in Miss America 2013, Judy Woodruff, news correspondent, and Lanie Hudson, Miss South Carolina 2014.
As long as the sorority continues to function, there’s no question it will continue to support and uplift women from all different backgrounds and walks of life.
